Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a successful and growing Planning Consultancy in central London (just north of the river) on the hire of a Graduate Town Planner to help deliver development proposals across Greater London and beyond.

The company works on projects that mainly fall in the Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Heritage sectors. The Graduate Town Planner will work as part of a small, highly professional and experienced team to support a mixture of clients in achieving their project objectives.

In this role, you will provide a host of services to your client base that includes pre-application advice, assisting to develop planning applications and monitor their submission through the system, right the way through to post application duties such as supporting on appeals. Throughout the cycle, you will communicate internally with colleagues and externally with clients and Local Authority Planning Officers.

To apply you should hold a planning degree and/or masters, with any experience picked up through placements being a bonus. You should hold good academics, strong communication and people skills with a determination to achieve your clients wishes.
