The role
Uppingham School has an exciting opportunity for talented post-graduates looking to work with young musicians in one of the country's leading music departments.
You will contribute to a wide range of musical activities, within both the co-curricular and academic life of the school. You will assist with the music development of students of all ages and abilities, allowing them to excel in the subject and to develop a lifelong love of music. You will also take on some administrative duties within the department, including helping with the organisation and management of our numerous concerts and performances throughout the year.
The appointment will last for one academic year, starting in September 2024. Accommodation will be provided.
About you
Although the role will be tailored to your particular strengths and interests, you will ideally be a performing musician with creative social media skills, or a flexible musician capable of undertaking a range of varied musical tasks throughout the department. Practical experience of music technology and production would be highly desirable.
