Digital Audit
We're a specialist team within our Audit practice that works hand in hand with the external audit teams to bring together process, controls and technology expertise to deliver integrated audits in an increasingly digitised world.
There are two sides to Digital Audit:
Auditing Digital: Auditing our client's technology to give them assurance that security and controls are in place. This includes infrastructure, Cloud, and applications. You'll gain an understanding of end-to-end processes and how business applications are utilised, controlled and optimised.
Digital Auditing: Using our latest tools to help digitise the way we deliver audits through automation, artificial intelligence data analytics and innovation - as well as using PwC developed tools and industry leading software to audit our clients.
Our culture drives success, both ours and yours. It gives us a sustainable advantage. We want to create an environment where our employees feel empowered to work in a way that works for our clients, teams, and you personally. It's not only about working hard, but working smarter and being agile to deliver exceptional client service whilst balancing work and life.
Programme
Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.
What you'll do
Our Digital Audit programme will give you a unique opportunity to focus on the technology aspect of the audit. You'll develop a strong understanding of the role that digital plays in the modern day audit and how new technologies are deployed and controlled within business. In practice, you'll understand and test IT systems and controls, deliver technology enabled audits, including the latest on advanced analytics, process control and automation and the use of innovative tools. We're constantly investing in audit technology and the skills of our people to keep up with the rapid pace of change and to deliver trust that is deeper, broader and more forward-looking.
As a Digital Audit technology graduate, you will develop deep technology and data skills through a structured training programme. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, industries and technologies. You'll be hands-on straight away, working at client sites or virtually from one of our PwC offices.
You'll need to be a people person, tenacious and resilient. You'll have exposure to contacts such as financial controllers, heads of IT or finance directors to understand and test IT systems and controls. You'll be checking IT systems to ensure they are appropriately controlled by management and to check that data produced is accurate, highlighting and questioning any differences. It's investigative work where you'll regularly speak with clients, using in-person meetings or leading-edge collaborative technology. You'll be part of a variety of teams, taking real responsibility for the work you do.
Above all, your work is client focused, which can mean travelling to client sites and will involve working to deadlines. This often requires working longer hours to meet the needs of the client. It's hard work but rewarding.
What you'll gain
You will follow a structured training curriculum which will allow you to develop the deeper technical and data skills required as a technology auditor, in addition to learning fundamental accounting concepts that you will utilise when supporting audit engagements. What you get out of it is the opportunity to build the skills and experience that can open many doors to you, taking your career in whatever direction you choose.
What you'll need
You'll need to have achieved or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.

Once you have submitted your application you'll have seven days to complete the online test, this is the first stage of our recruitment process.
