Your new companyWe are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's building services consultancy team in Glasgow. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems for a variety of building projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial. You will work closely with other engineers and architects to ensure that the mechanical systems are designed to meet the client's requirements and comply with relevant regulations. Your new roleYour responsibilities will include:
Designing mechanical systems for building projects, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).Preparing technical drawings and specifications.Liaising with clients, architects, and other engineers to ensure that the mechanical systems meet the client's requirements and comply with relevant regulations.Providing technical support during the construction phase of projects.Conducting site visits to ensure that the mechanical systems are installed correctly. What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical design for building projects.Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes.Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
