My story

　　Gracie is a nine-year-old, 55-pound lab mix whose owner died. The family put Gracie in the yard, emptied the house, locked the doors, and left her. Animal Control was called, and Gracie, who had once been someone’s faithful companion, found herself in a shelter, wondering what had happened. Gracie is back in a home now and seems to be settling into her new life. She is super sweet and calm, and she follows you but doesn’t get in the way. She loves the couch, but only when she is invited up. She’s great with other dogs, housetrained, and good in the house and on a leash.
