Goods In Inspector

A multinational client of ours has an exciting new opportunity for a Goods In Inspector to join the team at their UK warehouse. Head office is based in Langham and their new Warehouse that opened in 2023 is based in Severalls. A spacious, clean and tidy warehouse.

Joining a friendly and positive and long standing team, you will be supporting the company's growth.

Daily duties include: -

Receiving goods from manufacturers and suppliers.Working with over 500 products on a daily basis.Inspection of goods against customer orders.Learning product names and technical elementsPacking of goods for export.Liaising with buyers over discrepancies or damaged goods.Working closely as a team The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate confidence, basic IT skills as you will be updating online systems, accuracy, a strong work ethic and experience in a related Goods in or goods inspection role.

Although not essential as all training will be given, a Forklift counterbalance licence would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

GBP25,000 per annum based on experience

Bonus: The Company runs a bonus scheme. Details would usually be provided at the end of the first year of employment.Working hours: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1300 and 1400 to 1700 hrs (a total of 40hrs per week). You would, however, often be expected to work outside of these hours for the satisfactory performance of your duties.Annual leave: 25 days per plus public holidays.Workplace pension with employer's contribution of 9% of basic salary.Private healthcare is offered after the first year of employment.Free parking onsite Interviewing now for projected start end of January 2024.
