Burgess Hill, GBP10.42 p/h, Temporary with the opportunity to become a Permanent role for the right person, Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5pm, 20 days holiday + BH, pension, onsite parking.
The Role
Our wonderful client, based centrally in Burgess Hill, is seeking a Goods In person to join their team. This is a typical Goods In role which will see you managing and organising the deliveries coming into the warehouse.
Your duties will include:
Unloading deliveriesVerifying stock and checking for any discrepanciesCommunicating with suppliers regarding any discrepanciesBooking in stockSorting and storing the goods into the warehouse. Requirements The successful candidate should have previous experience working in a warehouse environment specifically dealing with incoming goods. The role will involve some admin responsibilities such as sending emails through Outlook, updating Excel Spreadsheets and using a hand held terminal so you will need to be confident using technology as part of your role. You will be a solid team player and have great communication skills.
This role would suit someone who has worked as a Stock Controller, Stores Assistant or in a Goods In Warehouse position.
