About the role:
We are seeking to recruit a Global QA Specialist based in the UK. This role will be Hybrid with a requirement to attend sites in Blackburn and Barnoldswick as required. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a current full UK driving license.
The Global QA Specialist will report to the Head of global QA in Switzerland and is part of the global QA team. Their goal is to ensure a continued process of improvement in global quality standards with a particular focus on the UK operations in the first year.
Who we’re looking for:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Essential:
Working knowledge and understanding of Quality, Food Safety and Environmental best practice in a manufacturing environment. Experience of 5S systems and hygiene standards would be an advantage.
Working Knowledge of ISO 9001, food safety (BRC, HACCP, ISO 22000), and ISO 14001 standards
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the Company.
A high level of competency and accuracy in creating and maintaining professional documentation and document control.
Strong planning, organisational, teamwork and presentation skills.
Able to use Microsoft Office 365 applications particularly SharePoint and Teams to a proficient level.
Desirable:
Internal Auditing Qualification
Spanish and/or German language skills
