If you know you know. The self-tuning function - perhaps not for gigging, but at home to have the guitar tune itself in just a few seconds is excellent: easily switch from open tunings, drop D, standard etc. The AAAA finish is stunning - it doesn’t really do it justice in the photos. Very good condition with only minor scratches on the back which the camera wont even pick up.
Setup for 10s with fairly low action. The sound customisation options on this guitar are ridiculous, with options to change up switch functions - though I haven’t attempted this so the sounds are still as was from the factory.
The Les Paul Standard HP:
In Desert Burst
-AAAA figured maple top
-Rhythm Pro (neck), Lead Pro (bridge) humbuckers with coil-splits
-Fast Access neck heel
-Adjustable titanium zero fret nut
-Soloist neck width
-Next-Generation Gibson G-Force tuners
-Smooth silent-action toggle switch
-New gold plated multi-contact jack
-Mother of pearl inlays
-Fortified aluminium case
The neck is very comfortable - probably closer to a 1960 Les Paul in that it is on the thinner side.. Welcome to try. If you’re looking for a Les Paul for mostly home/studio playing this is a fantastic player.
