An interesting Special model issued by Gibson only in 2014. Cherry on top: it's got a 1-piece mahogany back, and a beautiful flamed AAA-graded maple top. It only has 1x f-hole instead of the normal 2x. Actually, apart of that f-hole, the guitar's body is solid, without the modern weight holes at the inside. Un-modded, all-original! It has a 60s Slim Taper mahogany neck, mahogany body & a maple top finished in a Flamed Caramel (if that terminology even exists), a Classic 57 neck pickup & a Super 57 for the bridge position, 2x volume (with coil split) & 2x tone. And take a look at that wonderful reddish fretboard! It's called Granadillo, which is a South African rosewood type. Let it be duly noted: this is an LP Special (hence the "SP" in its code), as such it's a flat top LP, and extremely light (a tad lighter than my PRS Mira which weighs 7.14 lbs ~ 3.24kg)! A few know that the "GC" in its code means it had been specially issued on collaboration with Guitar Center. Gibson had said they'll never do the model again, and that they only made the likes of 400 pieces. So it's a very Limited one. A bunch of fair lacquer hairlines are present, some on its top, some on the lower side. Makes for an easily light natural relic. All-original, no mods, comes with the OHSC, plus all original paperwork. Almost all my guitars have an ultra-low action. This one too, plays like butter, with a 0.8mm (2/64 inch) string action. And I proud myself with highly accurate personal setups, so that upon receiving the instruments, you may play them right out of the box, they'll only need a final tuning as they're being shipped de-tuned.
