Our Music Centre is an exciting and dynamic place to work, providing a range of musical activities and events for young people. We are currently looking for a General Assistant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the centre.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and administration skills. You will need to be organised and efficient, with the ability to prioritise your workload.
Responsibilities:
As a General Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high–quality customer service to all users of the Music Centre. This will include face–to–face, email and telephone communication. You will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the Business & Admin Manager, Regional Manager, and/or Music Development Lead in charge.You will be responsible for controlling entry access to the centre, ensuring all safeguarding requirements are met, and providing information and guidance to customers about the different musical activities of the centre. You will also be required to ensure that rooms are set up appropriately, manage pupils arriving for activities until the teacher is available to take charge, and ensure that all staff and visitors are signed into the centre.As a General Assistant, you will be required to support the teaching staff with operational requirements, such as lesson registers, message–taking and contacting pupils as required. You will also be responsible for supporting concerts, celebration events, and music making days at the centre.Occasionally you will be required to support with the unlocking and/or locking up of the centre, and to check/replenish supplies of items used by customers. Qualifications:
