Couple’s position for a Gardener/Handyman & Housekeeper Couple’s Housekeeping position Gardener/Maintenance/Farm Hand position Housekeeper/Retail Assistant position
We have 5 holiday apartments and 7 lodges on our small family run farm and are looking for friendly, hardworking & reliable people to become part of our small team from late March-Nov.
We offer great rates of pay & private accommodation.
Gardener/Handy Person Duties:
Looking after the lawns and gardens Cleaning windows, BBQs & wood burner stoves on changeover days Light property maintenance (when required) Helping out on the farm feeding animals (sometimes with guests) along with other general farm jobs. Collecting, cleaning & packing eggs
Housekeeper Duties:
Cleaning the guest accommodation (alongside another housekeeper) to a very high standard Checking the inventory so that the property is fully equipped for the next guests Checking and reporting any maintenance issues A small amount of linen washing, however most laundry goes to the laundrette Packing and delivering laundry to properties/ laundrette Making sure all the supplies needed for changeovers are well stocked and the laundry room is tidy & well organised
Wages:
The hourly rate is between £12.50-£14 depending on experience and we offer an end of season bonus for a completed season. The positions are seasonal from late March – mid November (we can be slightly flexible on start and finish dates) and the day off is Sunday.
