EXCITING FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY!
About the job:
We are actively hiring street fundraisers to act as sales representatives for our charities (taking card and cash donations at supermarkets and shopping centres) at Locations across London and also across towns and cities outside the capital. This position can be full time, part time, temporary or permanent. All equipment (i.e. buckets, card readers, leaflets, branded items) is provided.
This is a commission paid role rather than an hourly rate of pay, meaning that fundraisers receive cash in hand at the end of each shift based on how much is raised on the day.
Fundraisers shall receive full support and training by our experienced trainers who have been selling for 20 years!
Fundraisers are expected to attend sites between 9AM and 10AM, and return to the office for counting donations after 5PM.
Job requirements:
·Must be a UK citizen.
·Must be at least 18 years old.
·Live in the London area, with the ability to travel to the London office on the same day as to sites.
·At least one year’s experience in Sales, Customer Service, Advertising, Promotions, Retail, Call Centre, Hospitality or Marketing is beneficial, however no experience but the enthusiasm to learn is equally important.
·Fluent in English and well spoken, with excellent communication skills.
·Excellent time management and organisational skills, with responsibility to attend sites on time.
·Energised, with an enthusiastic and positive attitude (BIG SMILES ARE ESSENTIAL)!
·Is able to explain and uphold the culture and values of the charity which is being represented on each shift.
·Well-groomed and presented.
