Fund Analyst – Salary GBP35,000 – GBP50,000 DOE & Excellent Benefits –18–month Fixed Term Contract

Based: Remote Home Based

Our client, a large market leading wealth management company are searching for a Fund Analyst to provide fund analytical support to the investment committee.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide fund analytical support to the investment committee for the ongoing governance of a range of external model portfolios.Including monitoring the existing fund options and challenging their selection if appropriate together with the review of proposed changes.Arrange the quarterly investment committee meetings, production of the pack and taking the minutes.Regular reporting including the regular review of the performance of the underlying funds.Handling external relationships with employees who handle the day–to–day management of the model portfolios.Role reports to the Head of Research and Investment and will work alongside the investment committee.Review legacy funds held by clients. Candidate Skills Required:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in analysing retail investment fundsPrevious experience in carrying out due diligence with fund managers remotely and face to face.Experience of using Lipper for investment management when analysing funds.Previous experience in roles that have a strong compliance and regulatory focus.Strong analytical problem–solving skills.Good administration experience and good IT / Microsoft skillsExcellent communication skills written, and verbal are critical in this role to enable strong internal and external communications This is an exciting opportunity with a leading company for a Fund Analyst within a financial services company to progress their career.
