Seat attaches to handlebar post on a shopper-style bike so that the child sits in front of you between you and the handlebars. They have their own handlebar to hold onto and it has adjustable footrests.

Loved this seat so much when mine were little as the balance is so much better than having a rear child seat and you can see and talk to them more easily.
