Hi,

The Oxford Gummies (so named because we formed through ads placed on Gumtree) are looking for new players. We play on Wednesday nights (8.30pm kick off) on the astro turf at Oxford Brookes in Headington. We like to play in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and are looking for more people to join us.

Some players come along most weeks, others just occasionally - there's no commitment. It's 9-a-side game, so 18 players per week and the cost is £4.00

You can play every week (providing you answer the email in time for a slot) or just occasionally, the choice is yours on a week to week basis.

So if you like to play football but don't want the overly competitive element of all these tournaments and leagues then this is the place for you.

What we are:

- Very friendly

- Mixed age (mostly late 20s/30s/early 40s but all are welcome)

- Very mixed ability (miss an open goal and people will laugh rather than shout at you!)

What we don't want:

- People who take life and football too seriously

- Players looking for a physical game - it's very friendly

- Unreliable people. All we ask is that if you sign up for that week's game, you turn up - and be on time!
