About the role:

We seek an enthusiastic and talented teacher, who is aligned to our vision for what an excellent MFL education looks like for pupils aged 2 to 18 and is able to deliver that vision through excellent planning and teaching. This teacher should be ready to commit to leading an extensive extra-curricular MFL programme which will enrich the lives of our pupils and help prepare them for university and beyond. The ability to teach French expertly is essential.

The successful candidate must also be able to offer French to at least Key Stage 4 and ideally Key Stage 5 now or in the future. Initially the need is in French, but as we offer Spanish too from Key Stage 4 onwards, it is desirable to be able to teach this language too.

About our school:

King Solomon Academy is a genuine all-through school, with our pupils staying with us from nursery to sixth form across two sites, ten minutes-walk apart. In May 2021, we opened a purpose-built nursery for 2-4 year olds. Our Younger Years Site has generous outdoor space, including a beautiful global food garden and a woodland garden where we run Forest School in EYFS and KS1. UKS2 pupils benefit from all the resources of sharing a site with secondary: a huge MUGA, basketball courts, science labs, specialist music equipment and so on.
