We are seeking a Freight Forwarder who will expedite inbound and cross trade movements on behalf of our clients in their interests whilst delivering strategic objectives of the group.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements.• Receiving of pre-alerts and shipping documentation.• End to end monitoring of inbound and outbound movements.• Opening of files for Air, Sea Road & Courier shipments.• Issuing customs clearance instructions and ensuring 100% compliance with AEO and customs policy.• Daily invoicing and job costing.• Follow up of purchase orders/shipments.• Maintenance of SOPs.• Communication with overseas offices/partners.• Quoting new traffic / new trade lanes.• Ensuring we meet company DATA Quality KPI with required tracking information.• Ensuring any PM queries are cleared within KPI timeframe.• Collecting VAT/Duty from customers if required.• Other duties as reasonably requested by line manager.

Experience/ Qualities:

• Sea freight experience required - customs knowledge preferred.• Excellent problem-solving skills.• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.• Self-motivator who also works well as part of a team.• Ability to handle pressure and good time-management.
