FREE employability course in Blaydon this January for those with disabilities and/or long-term health conditions! The course can help with access to traditional employment, or routes into self-employment (Business for Good specialise in helping people gain Access to Work funding to help with their small businesses).
The ASDAN award in Employability course delivered by Business for Good is aimed at people with disabilities and/or long-term health conditions as a route to access self-employment or find a job.
Those with an interest in self-employment will focus on enterprise, and those looking for employment will focus on job application skills.
At the start of the course, learners must be unemployed or interested in exploring self-employment and based in Newcastle or Gateshead with the ability to get to our Blaydon learning centre.
Learning will be half a day / 3 hours per week and each group will only consist of six learners. The course will be delivered by Kay Wightman over several months.
