D33P Search are currently working with a Defence business who have multiple sites in the UK who are already looking to expand are a hugely successful period for the business.
They have grown over 70+ heads in the last 2 years and have continued growth plans for the end of 2023 and well into 2024.
The business have numerous different programmes of work which all require huge input from their Firmware team, they're looking to bring on over 3 firmware engineers in the next 6 months. You'll be supporting on communications projects spanning across land and sea.
The type of experience they're looking for in a Software Engineer:
Responsible for the architectural and detailed design of FPGA solutions to meet requirements. Working with other internal design disciplines, and external suppliers, to develop successful design solutions. Systems integration of solutions, including fault finding. Preparation of high-quality documentation associated with the development lifecycle and configuration in accordance with company procedures. Assisting and liaising with project teams on firmware aspects of products and systems. Complying with all health and safety requirements and safe practices and procedures operated by the company Broad electronics design experience in digital design techniques with a focus on FPGA technologies including FPGA design in VHDL and FPGA test bench design (Questa/Modelsim). Working knowledge of FPGA vendor tools (Vivado/Quartus). Knowledge of Lab Test Equipment. Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload with a hands-on approach. Eligible for SC clearance (Some positions will move into DV cleared, but not all) Hybrid working - 3 days in office per week
Salary - 45-80K + Benefits
