As part of the Commercial Finance Function, the FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial forecasting & planning processes, business performance reporting, and decision making through the provision of insightful analysis.

Due to continued growth, our client is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support our Commercial Financial team.
Responsibilities include:
Support the financial planning processes; Annual Business Reviews (Budget + 3–year Plan). Facilitates the planning timetable aggregation of financial inputs, and creation of ExCo & Board level outputs. Own historic performance reporting; analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.Development and maintenance of medium– and long–term liquidity forecasting across entities and metrics, including analysis of balance sheet and liquidity drivers. Creating financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting in order to predict future performance. Evaluating financial data, examining current events and market developments in order to identify trends in financial performance to provide recommendations for improvement. Support the finance business partners and wider team with budgeting and cashflow forecasts and ensuring accurate financial reporting.Preparing and presenting financial information and reports to operational stakeholders to inform key business decision; making and identify opportunities and risk.Undertaking detailed scenario planning and sensitivity analysis. ACA with up to 3–year PQE
Audit background experience, augmented with Transaction Services / FDD desirable
Demonstrable proficiency in financial modelling techniques. Adaptive Planning & BI experience desirable but not mandatory
Strong analytical and data gathering skills
Proactive, organised and curious
Solution focused mindset – with the ability to assimilate complex information and develop solutions and resolve complex issues
Ability to transition between the 'big picture' view & detail, and synthesize financial & non–financial insights from across the organisation
