Job Description:
The Employment Group are currently assisting a well-established, organisation who specialise in delivery of high-quality meat products to high street and catering companies across the UK. Having been established since 1991 they have a large reputation to always uphold.
As a Forklift driver, you will be an integral part of the production and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products around various areas of the warehouse.
Your responsibilities will include:
Safely operate forklifts to load and unload raw materials, finished goods, and supplies from trucks and storage areas. Work closely with production teams, warehouse staff, and logistics personnel to ensure the seamless flow of materials. Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay up to date with forklift operation best practices and safety standards.
The requirements of this role include:
A valid forklift operator certification or license is required. Prior experience as a forklift driver is preferred, especially in a similar manufacturing or warehouse setting. Good level of spoken and written English Ability to handle physical demands of moving material / stock around the warehouse.
