The time has come to sell my 2015 wrx sti. I have owned the car for 6 years now and im basically just after a change. The car has covered 56954 miles and has just sailed through another MOT with no advisories.
The engine was rebuilt at 38000 miles by myself.
The block halves were inspected, measured and prepared by spool motorsports. They also provided great advice on the recommended running in procedure.
The following parts used were:
Fuji motorsport ultimate oil sump and pickup
Forged H beam conrods supplied by scooby solutions with ARP 2000 bolts
Mahle 4032 forged pistons
Brand new 2.5 nitrided crankshaft
Genuine head bolts
Skimmed flywheel
Fuji motorsports head gaskets
Uprated water pump with closed type impeller
New oil cooler modine
Exedy pink stage 1 clutch kit
New 11mm oil pump
Japspeed aluminium radiator
Japspeed unequal length headers (unwrapped and still in great condition)
Gates timing belt kit with all pulleys and rollers replaced.
Fuji motorsports timing belt guide
Receipts all here for the parts bought
Other parts fitted.
Brand new discs and pads on the front
New denso exhaust header lambda sensor
Japspeed sports cat ( currently fitted and will be giving the original cat with the car
Afterburner back box system (Gives a good sound which isnt annoying on long drives)
Injen induction kit
Intercooler guard
Subi speed sequential bezels just resprayed in gloss black.
The car has had a remap from Andy Forrest with these mods aswell giving the car a figure of around 370bhp. I have a certificate for this and photographs of the results aswell.
The wheels were powder coated from we restore alloys in silver and they are still in mint condition, with pirelli p zero nero gt’s all with a good amount of tread still left.
The car has ran on momentum since my ownership at 16000 miles: the car only has part service history up until its warranty expired, i have been working on subaru’s for about 9 years now and i just prefer to do the maintenance myself. And i always carry out the work with the proper care and attention it deserves. you will be buying a car that has been well looked after.
I have also treated the underside with a lanoguard one year protective coating. Hence the shine from the underside photographs.
Sorry for the massive post. I have no doubt missed some things out so fire away with the questions. I’ll be more than happy to answer when i can ????
