The Corporate Intelligence (CI) team conducts investigative research for clients seeking to mitigate the risks associated with third parties, acquisition targets, commercial partners and other business relationships. By accessing public record information and undertaking discreet source enquiries, we provide clients with the information they need to make strategic business decisions
Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a Russian speaking linguist to join the team and in particular individuals who have an aptitude for research, an investigative and sceptical mind-set, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. We envisage that the role will be largely research focused, although successful candidates will also be required to assist with administrative duties. Candidates should also be prepared to travel as some of our opportunities can require team members to work at client sites.
This is an exciting opportunity for graduates and professionals to work across one of Forensics high growth teams where they will play a key role in the delivery of multi-faceted projects for our global client base.
We would welcome applicants who are recent graduates.
About the roles
Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
Research of public domain information in one or more languages including research of corporate registers, media databases, litigation records and other open source material
Management and tasking of third parties making human source enquiries
Report drafting
Various ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Providing business development support to the CI management team.

The CI team has clients across the globe from multiple industries including financial services, aerospace & defence, construction, education, various government departments, pharmaceutical, energy, technology, media and consumer goods.
Where will you be based?
Projects will be mainly carried out at PwC's Belfast office, although you may be required to travel to client sites (across the UK and sometimes global client sites) or PwC UK offices for training. We will discuss these requirements with you in advance of starting a project.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Degree or postgraduate qualification, though candidates without degrees will also be considered if they demonstrate relevant experience
Ability to translate and conduct research (upper / advanced) in Russian language
Essential Skills and Experience
Excellent report writing skills
An aptitude for innovation and learning, with a particular focus on the use of new technologies and on creative thinking with it comes to implementing bespoke client solutions
Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to step back and assess the bigger picture where required
A highly analytical skill set with an ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and to evaluate large amounts of information for the purposes of identifying underlying key issues and their broader implications
Strong communication skills with a focus on collaborative working and relationship building
Native speaking or fluent in verbal and written Russian
Desirable Skills and Experience
Research background (or education in a research-related discipline, e.g. Law, History, Politics, International Relations or Criminology
Background in consultancy, professional service firms and/or legal practice might be helpful
