Genuine Ford Capri RS3100 which is one of only 250 made. This car was one of the 50 exported to Australia from new and it was brought back to the UK in 2018. The car has been authenticated by two different Capri owners club and there is also a letter from Ford UK confirming the original build date. It only shows one UK owner on the V5 which states Capri RS3100. There are various receipts with it from both its time in Australia and the UK. It still has its Australian parking permit on the windscreen. Its a good useable example but if you want a concours show car then theres a bit money to be spent. Car is showing 400053 miles but we cannot verify if this is correct.

Body - Genuine RS3100 which has been verified. In the main it all looks original and unrestored underneath and theres no signs of any welding on the floors. Good original inner wings, sills, arches, inner sills, pillars, doors boot and bonnet. Its really a very solid car having had an easy life down in Australia for most of its days. It looks to have had the wings replaced at some point. It has the Australian spec decals on the front and rear spoiler and the Australian spec wing mirrors. Paintwork is perfectly useable as it sits. If you wanted a show car or to take it to the next level youd need to paint it. The finishing trims from the side where the blue meets the black are missing. Few minor marks on the paintwork as you would expect on a nearly 50 year old car. Ducktail spoiler is lifting a little in the middle. Chrome trim round nsr window is a bit loose.

Mechanics - Starts and runs no problem and pulls well. Gearbox clutch and brakes feel fine on test drive. Not sure when it was last serviced. Everything looks standard and in good order underneath. Its not shiny show quality but all looks correct and very original.

Interior - Original interior which is in cracking condition. Seats are really good with no rips or tears. good door cards, headlining and carpet. All gauges appear to work apart from the fuel gauge which appears a bit temperamental. Uncracked dash. Doesnt look like its ever had a radio fitted. Really very original looking inside

Wheels - Correct RS3100 alloys with decent tyres. Again these are presentable but would benefit from a refurb if you want to take the car to the next level.

These cars are very rare now and nicely restored examples are selling for around 70K. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
