The Company:Our client is a well-established International Food broker & distributor

Main duties:Investigating non-conformances, issuing Certificates of Analysis, approving toll manufacturing orders and auditing warehouses and factories.

The Role:- Approving new suppliers and evaluate risk assessment- Investigating non-conformances and updating with a complete report including corrective and preventive actions- Supplier monitoring and renewing audit packs documentation. This involves:- Renewing audit packs- Updating and reviewing product documentation/specification- Approving toll manufacturing orders- Arranging laboratory analyses- Responding to technical queries from customers & suppliers related to ingredients/ quality and food safety

The Candidate:- Degree or equivalent in food science, food technology, or related science discipline would be an asset- Previous work experience in Auditing in the food industry, including at least two years in a quality assurance/food safety function within food production or manufacturing- Experience investigating non-conformances- Successfully completed HACCP / ISO 9001 / BRC training courses- Successfully completed Food legislation / Food labelling training- Good communication skills - able to write and speak clearly and articulately with various stakeholders- Able to prioritise and handle change of priorities- Able to work under pressure

The Salary: between GBP35,000 pa and GBP40,000 pa DOE
