Quality Controller
Swale - must be a driver with own transport due to location
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week, rotating shift patterns (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm), overtime available
GBP23,300 + overtime + progression (opportunity to increase earnings)

A great opportunity has risen with our client based in the Swale area who are currently seeking a Quality Controller to join their busy food production team within a factory based environment. Shifts tend to be 06.00-14.00 but there must be some flexibility dependent on demand - you may finish earlier/later at times.
Duties to include:
Working in a busy and targeted food production environment working in a variety of temperatures season dependent Reading production plans and ensuring that products have the accurate quantities of ingredientsChecking the quality of the product visually and through various checksFollowing clear processesSpotting opportunities to improve processesAll associated administration including printing labels, recording and documenting information and using iPads to follow the QC processesFollowing Health and Safety regulations Any other duties required The successful candidate will have / be:
Some experience working with food would be preferred An understanding of what quality control is; any experience of basic quality checks would be beneficial A food hygiene certificate - this isn't essential but would be beneficial Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, read, write and understand English The ability to use technology at a basic level - data input using computers/iPadsPhysical ability to work within a 'hands on' role - you will be on your feet within a factory environment Reliable, honest and trustworthy This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who are going from strength to strength.
