This is a “family-sized” deep fat fryer.

It takes about 3 litres of oil.

The basket measures approximately 17.5 x 23 cm and is about 10cm deep.

The basket handle folds inwards to reduce the required storage space.

There is a ‘rest’ to hold the basket above the hot oil, to allow draining without you having to stand there holding it.

The oil temperature is controlled by an adjustable thermostat (max 190C), so it can’t overheat and catch fire.

The lid can be fitted during frying, and has both a window and an inbuilt stainless steel filter.

It dismantles very simply, as shown, and everything except the electric module (with heating element and controls) is stainless and dishwasher safe.

The mains lead is about 95cm long.

The heating element is rated at 2100 watts for quick heating.
