This book is bound in the original publisher's cloth. Small inscription to first end-paper. The spine states 'Vol ll' although the title page states 'Volume X1’ - this only adds to the books Victorian charm and is typical of the printers and book binders of the day who often made mistakes which can add value to a first edition as with A Tale of Two Cities.
Internally its in good condition throughout. A piece of history and something fine to look after for the next generation and something that will only gain in value.
