The spine states 'Vol Vl' although the title page states 'Volume V' - this only adds to the books Victorian charm and is typical of the printers and book binders of the day who often made mistakes which sometimes added value to a first edition.
Internally its in good condition throughout. A piece of history and something fine to look after for the next generation and something that will only gain in value.
