About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified Financial Systems Accountant with significant relevant experience, to be the Finance lead on our new Agile IT project at our office based in Aylesbury but working partly in the office and remotely.
Areas of responsibility will include: maintenance of integrated financial systems, finance processes and systems review and improvement. Our main systems include:
QL –housing management system, Info BI– reporting system, SUN– accounting system, Asset 4000– Fixed asset database system, and Proactis– procurement system.On the Job you will:
Build strong relationship with IT teams, to project manage the implementation of finance systems projects as part of the Agile IT programmeBe responsible for the day to day Agile IT finance project management ensuring that the financial systems integrity is enhanced and adequately maintained.Review finance systems and processes and develop enhancements that add value .To ensure that systems are configured to deliver accurate information for analysis, forecasting and specific business reports and projectsBe responsible for the integrity of financial reports.Develop financial systems policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will,
Be CCAB part qualification as a minimum Have a project management qualificationHave significant experience of developing new finance systems rules, workflow and process improvement.Worked in social housing or other similar industry.Have significant experience of using various software applications such as those mentioned above. CCAB part qualified accountant and a project management qualification with significant relevant experience.
