The Financial Reporting Manager role is a key position within our Accounting & Finance department, responsible for managing and overseeing all financial reporting tasks and activities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting and managing the audit process, as well as supporting the wider team with the management of the day–to–day finance function.

Description

Manage and oversee all financial reporting activities within the company.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial reports.Coordinate with other departments to compile and analyse financial data.Develop and implement financial reporting procedures and policies.Provide guidance and support to the Accounting & Finance team.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.Comply with financial regulations and standardsParticipate in financial audits and implement recommendations for improvementsProduction and review of group monthly management accountsFull understanding of group company balance sheets ensuring full reconciliationManage the UK Tax submission process, working closely with wider teamDevelop and maintain appropriate relationships with auditors and other external advisorsManage more junior team membersAd hoc support to Group Financial Controller and CFO Profile

A successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:

Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem–solving skills.Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A high level of integrity and professionalism.
