Our client is a well established leading professional services firm with a large team based in Reading and a client base ranging from multinational groups to SMEs. This role will join their new Financial Reporting team providing services in accounting and reporting to a growing and established client base working alongside their large and well-established Audit team.

Description

The Financial Reporting Accountant will take ownership for a varied client portfolio including multinational groups, SMEs and leading charities.

Key responsibilities will include:

Preparation of statutory accounts and financial reporting under a range of accounting standards including IFRS, UK GAAP, FRS 102 and Charities SORP.Supporting the Audit team in finalising the production of statutory financial statements Collaboration with teams across the business to answer client accounts queries and ensure the provision of a high level of serviceGeneral and ad hoc support to the Audit team Profile

The successful candidate will have a proven skill set in statutory accounts preparation in a professional services company and strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS, UK GAAP and FRS 102. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
