We are partnering with a thriving manufacturing company located in Norwich in the search for an accomplished Financial Controller. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the CFO, overseeing a dynamic finance team of 7/8 professionals across Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, Payroll, and Management Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Spearhead the preparation of comprehensive financial plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and meticulous cash flow management.

Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Forecast Management: Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, aligning with organizational goals.

Leadership: Oversee and review various accounting functions, encompassing payroll, tax, and compliance, ensuring regulatory adherence.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the CFO to present financial reports to executives, board members, investors, and other stakeholders.

Budgeting: Work closely with executives and directors to create budgets and monitor key performance indicators.

Adherence to Standards: Demonstrate expertise in UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).

Audit and Compliance: Manage local and IFRS financial auditing, as well as local tax declarations and inspections.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree–educated and professionally qualified with substantial experience in a similar role.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Opportunities:
