Leading specialist in its field requires an experienced Financial Controller to join its well established team in Basildon

Key responsibilities include

Accuracy and controls of Financial Accounts, (including VAT, CIS, PAYE),including Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger Invoicing and Banking processPayroll and sub-contractor payments process, including legislative requirements (eg NI & Pensions), 'right to work' monitoring and reportingStatutory filing requirements and ensuring Management are aware of their statutory responsibilities/updatesPreparing and issuing weekly/monthly management reports in timely fashion (eg adhoc costings, cashflow, CVR reporting)Supporting the ongoing review of systems, processes, procedures and controlsControlling day to day activities and help drive projects to ensure delivery in accordance with plan, time, budget

The successful candidate will be qualified within a finance/accounting background and have experience ideally within a contract based business.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills to both finance and non-finance people
