Your new company:This role is integral to supporting the CFO, senior leadership team and Board with financial information, analysis and processes. The successful candidate will be logical, highly organised and with demonstrable experience of working strategically and operationally all whilst embracing the dynamic culture. Leading the growth and expansion of the day to day and long–term strategy, it is imperative there is substantial experience of strong technical accounting and controllership in growing an SME business whilst an ability to be flexible in carrying out various duties.Your new role:The main responsibilities of this role are:– Supporting the preparation of all budgets and financial forecasting– Quarterly VAT returns– Balance sheet reconciliation– Overseeing all audit processes– Creating reports (annual and monthly) for various stakeholders– Leading the finance team, supporting all learning and development– Month–end/Year–end reporting– Line management of stock controller(s) and junior members of team– Support the financial strategy and decision–making of business– Ensuring business is fully compliant with financial processes What you'll need to succeed– ACCA/CIMA/ACA fully qualified– Advanced Excel and ERP system skills (Sage 200)– Practical experience dealing with stocks– Prior experience producing management accounts– Previous experience of dealing directly with key stakeholdersWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up–to–date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
