The Role you will be doing;
Responsible for the overall accounting and financial management requirements.Responsible for preparing annual budgets, monthly forecasts and operating results. Investigate any variances to budget/forecast and reporting to the Directors for review.Responsible for verifying all financial reports, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local government regulations.Prepare and submit management reports in a timely manner adhering to delivery deadlines.Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes.Assist proactively with cost control requirements.Assist with revenue enhancement possibilities.Assist with profit improvement opportunities for operations.Monitor and improve operation costs, profitability and manage business risks.Ensure efficient debtor and creditor controlManage all aspects of the balance sheet ensuring accurate recording.Ensure local tax authority compliance of all sites.Effectively implement all accounting policies and procedures.Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard venue assets.File the local tax with the concerned authority on a monthly/regular basis and ensure payments/refunds actioned.Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.Liaise with the managing Directors of the organisation with any issues or changes.Support and liaise with the Directors and individual site managers in meeting the strategic goals of the organisation.Represent the finance department during daily morning HOD meetings.Conduct regular weekly finance department meetings.Able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish the work.Assists in the building of an efficient and professional team of employees within Finance and Accounting Department.Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.Provide excellent leadership by differentiates top performers, fosters teamwork and also able to encourages work/life balance.Establish and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.Participates in the employee performance appraisal process, providing feedback as needed.Any other tasks as and when required by Directors About you
You must have experience using Opera/Oracle.You must have had experience within a similar Senior Financial Role.Effective communicator who can coach and develop financial understanding to other areas of the business.Ability to work to meet strict deadlines and exceed under pressure.Experience of delivering work process improvements throughout the business.
