Their services fall under three categories: data strategy, application acceleration and security management.They are currently looking for a talented Financial Controller to support the CFO in running their accounting function.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for:

Leading the daily operations of the finance functionDay to day bookkeeping for the business which includes carrying out bank reconciliations, maintenance of all ledgers including accounts payable and receivable and maintenance of the fixed asset register.Reviewing and approving of staff expenses.Raising of sales invoices and chasing payment when overdue.Monthly management account preparation including tracking of profitability and variance analysis.Maintenance of Cashflow and Profit and Loss forecasts.Preparation of and reporting against the company budget.Overseeing the monthly payroll process including payment of payroll staff and contractorsLiaising with external accountants during the year-end process.-Supporting the CFO with Ad-hoc projects The successful candidate will be:

A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with post qualified experience (at least 2 years)A background in Practice would be preferredProfessional services expeienceFRS 102 technical skill setExposure to SME environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to build strong working relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholdersAbility to work autonomously and organise and prioritise tasksKnowledge of accounting system (Xero) is desirable
