Your new roleThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller, looking for a clear, progressive route to become a Finance Director. This is a hands–on role where you will be responsible for the ongoing development of the financial processes and procedures and financial systems, including reporting such as budgeting and forecasting, monthly accounts and cash flow. Some of the key responsibilities include:
Supply of income and expenditure reports and variance analysisAttend regular meetings with the Executive Trustee, regarding any financial matters that could affect or influence the organisationPrepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheet, metrics and commentaryCommunicate effectively internally and externally, ensuring accurate and efficient communication across the organisation, to both finance and non–finance professionalsMonitor cash levels considering the charity's reserves Overall management of credit and debitsEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsOperational and Team Management responsibilities What you'll need to succeed
Be a Qualified AccountantKnowledge of charity SORP desirableExperience of being a number 2 in Finance including; strong technical and analysis skills, monitoring and implementing projects, financial reporting and preparation of year–end accounts, strong supervision/managerial and influencing experience What you'll get in return
