The Financial Controller position offers a competitive package depending on experience, our client offers a basic salary of 40,000 to 52,000 and a wealth of benefits. Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for the organisation's business strategy and the planning and execution of the long-term business objectives. You will also oversee the day to day running of the finance department and manage staff. You will need to review financial controls and reporting practices to drive timely management information, ensuring compliance with audit processes.

You will be responsible for ensuring P&L budgets are strictly controlled and managed, and that cost savings plans and forecasts are produced and updated as required, alongside ensuring that cash flow and net working capital is monitored and controlled and creating accurate forecasts. You will have autonomy to create processes and manage the team with guidance from the Finance Director.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate would be an ambitious and commercial finance professional with a strong end-end finance background within a fast-paced environment. You will possess strong analytical ability, commercial acumen and be capable of communicating effectively with non-financial stakeholders, providing meaningful insight to help educate decision-making. A willingness to grow and learn within the organisation is an essential trait required.
