Hays are partnering with an innovative and growing engineering business based on the outskirts of Gloucestershire and just off the M5 and easily accessible from Gloucestershire, Bristol and Wiltshire. Due to their continued successful growth, they are enhancing their Senior Leadership Team and are looking for a Financial Controller to join them. If you are looking for a challenge, where your opinion is valued and you can influence change, then this is the role for you.The FC will head up the finance function, which currently has a turnover of GBP20m and 175 employees. My client is a leading provider of engineering support and advice to growing market sectors. You will be the focal point for all financial aspects of the company and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will actively participate in supporting the company's growth.While the role will report directly to the MD you will also have a very close relationship with the UK Group CFO. You will also interact with other financial leaders across the wider group. This is an exciting time to join the company to help improve the company's financial planning and analysis as well as its business systems.Job Description:The purpose of the FC is to provide the focal point for all financial and legal UK accountancy aspects in the UK.

Overseeing all company reportingEnsuring compliance with UK law and company's and Group's policiesDriving the company's financial planning: annual budgeting and forecastingParticipation in Board meetingsBusiness and cost controlProcess improvementOptimising cash flow and working Capital RequirementLeading the audit preparation and consolidation reporting People

Supervising finance personnelEnsuring adequate training and development for finance teamManaging staffing levels through mutualisation of back–office functions with sister companies Key skills & Experience:
