Leading company specialising in AI video telematics, Committed to maintaining the highest standards in all aspects of our business, we are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team.

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the company by accurately updating and reconciling day-to-day accounting entries across the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers.

Day to day, you will:

Cover all aspects of AP accounting, including accurate posting and analysis of supplier invoices, with a full understanding of how the purchasing process links with invoices and payments.

Respond to all ad hoc purchase/sales ledger queries.

Collate weekly payment runs and ensure approval aligns with Group timelines.

Draft month-end journals as required, such as prepayments, accruals, intercompany, payroll, etc.

Prepare monthly supporting schedules, including prepayments, accruals, and detailed P&L analysis (e.g., marketing, insurance, payroll).

Complete monthly bank reconciliations, daily cash posting, short-term cash flow forecasting, and accurate allocation of payments/receipts to AP/AR ledgers.

Deputise for the Head of Financial Accounting when required.

Key Skills and Knowledge:

Part qualified in ACCA/CIMA.

Clear understanding of COA (Chart of Accounts) and nominal analysis.
