We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Poppyscotland Finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, Poppyscotland, you will be ensuring that all daily and month end processes are carried out on a timely and accurate basis.
Some key responsibilities will include:
Preparing month end balance sheet and other reconciliations, ensuring that all reconciling items are correctly identified and dealt with appropriately whilst recommending improvements to financial processes Supporting the production of month end management accounts Supporting the production of year-end financial statements for Poppyscotland Dealing with finance related queries from Poppyscotland, RBL Finance and auditors as required Deputising for the Head of Finance as required and supporting other team members in their learning and development The normal place of work for this post is New Haig House, 66 Logie Green Road, Edinburgh, EH7 4HQ. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools. Your People Manager will determine the requirements of this based on Poppyscotland policy.
