CY Resourcing have been engaged to recruit a Finance Officer, on behalf of a Manchester based charity. Working within a small team, this post reports directly to the Finance Manager and will involve the following day to day duties:
Monthly budget, suspense account, petty cash and bank account reconciliations Preparation of monthly VAT returns Checking of weekly and monthly payroll Checking purchase ledger payments prior to approval Processing payroll and purchased ledger transactions in the absence of the Payroll Administrator The post requires:
Excellent knowledge of SAGE Understanding of Purchase Ledger and dealing with invoice queries Experience of processing invoices Experience of processing payroll Great communication skills Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise whilst working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Qualification
Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) It is essential that you have prior working experience of using SAGE, and that you are a part qualified candidate.
The client is open to candidates looking to work either 37.5 hours per week, or 30 hours per week
