Finance Manager Oldham 50,000 - 60,000 + 10% bonus Well established privately owned business

Axon Moore are working exclusively with a well-established business in Oldham who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team to replace someone who is retiring after 20 years of service.

This is an owner managed business with several sites in the UK and have become a real market leader in their industry spanning from the 1980s.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Managing and overseeing the team to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and in line with the month end timetableContinuous improvement and development of the team, supporting and mentoringPreparing the management accounts in line with set deadlinesReviewing the month end spend analysis and accruals and prepaymentBalance sheet reconciliations Approving payments and reviewing and managing cashflowOverseeing and managing the annual audit process and preparing the statutory accountsProvide financial reports and interpret financial information to Senior Management TeamP&L forecastingProduct Costing and AnalysisReporting on budgetary variancesMonitoring and review of current accounting systems and operations in order to recommend and introduce improved methods of working.
