Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work in collaboration to create a best–in–class finance team, the successful candidate will ensure that the team are motivated, proactive, and focussed on ensuring best–practice.

Key responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining an efficient operation across all aspects of the Finance departments' processesLeading the preparation of quarterly, year–end accounts and statutory returns across the businessManaging and supervising the Financial Accounting team across their day–to–day duties, providing guidance and advice where neededWorking alongside the Financial Controller to ensure continued process improvement, automation, and best–practice across the finance functionEnsuring periodic tax filings are prepared and filed within the required timelines, as well as liaising with external auditors and professional advisors.Ad–hoc projects in collaboration with the Financial Controller aligned to short–term financial goals and long–term strategic objectivesCollaborating closely with the team to review and improve operational finance processes and reporting cycles Profile:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with relevant post qualification experiencePrevious experience as a Finance Manager ideally in a similar sectorExperience in managing and developing a team is essentialAn excellent communicator both written and verballyAbility to work with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellenceAn inquisitive mind–set where you continuously seek process improvement Interested candidates should send their CV to Alba Amigo.
