Description
Support the Head of Finance to develop and implement financial controls and processes for the business
Manage day–to–day financial operations and controls
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with senior management on strategic decision–making.
Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities.
Prepare and present financial reports and metrics.
Prepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Ad hoc analysis and support to corporate finance and commercial teams
Ensure all statutory reporting deadlines are met, including management of external auditors
Support the wider business in the development and implementation of a suitable ERP system
Ad hoc support to the Head of Finance and other senior stakeholders
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Strong technical knowledge of relevant accounting standards and reporting requirements
Capable of working in a start–up environment, with a proven ability to adapt to change and show flexibility
Excellent analytical, decision–making, and problem–solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Job Offer
An estimated salary range of GBP45,000 – GBP50,000 per annum.
