Our client, a charity based at a convent located in Birmingham, is actively seeking a qualified Finance Manager.
This pivotal senior management role requires close collaboration with the Generalate Team, the Bursar General, and the Leadership Team.
The primary objective is to support the mission by effectively managing the common property and financial assets of the charity, ensuring alignment with its core ethos and constitutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the charity's accounts and overseeing general financial operations.
Addressing any legal matters related to the charity.
Supervising activities related to property disposal, acquisition, and refurbishment.
Managing banking, insurance, and the charities investment portfolios.
Candidates will be suitably qualified (CIMA / ACCA or ACA or Business Management) with a background in finance, accountancy or general business having the professional maturity to operate effectively within a faith-based environment and a genuine interest in positively contributing to a welcoming, peaceful, and supportive workplace.
We are looking for experienced candidates who can add real value to the team - salary levels are in the region of GBP40- GBP45,000 for 20 hours spread over three days per week.
Please note the role is based in Birmingham (B29) but there will be some travel to Scotland and Ireland, there will also be a DBS check prior to appointment.
