We are excited to announce that our client is currently seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join a thriving charity within County Durham. The purpose of the role is to is to ensure sound financial management of the charity making sure the charity operates effectively. The successful candidate will have or be working towards a recognised accounting qualification and will demonstrate recent or ongoing accounting experience within the charity sector.

Person Specification:
Recognised Accounting Qualification (such as, ACCA, CPFA or ACA) or actively working towards.Recent or Ongoing Experience of providing 360 financial management in a medium- large organisation.Finance experience within the charity sector with a solid understanding of The Charitable SORP and legal compliance.Good knowledge of Quickbooks (or similar software) with strong IT skills and a good understanding of technology and innovation opportunities.Self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships throughout the organisation.Strong core business skills including influencing and negotiating, stakeholder management and presentation skills.The ability to interpret data, order and assess its value and then present the findings to the relevant stakeholders concisely.Knowledge of how financial information supports the organisation and strategic decision making with the ability to analyse financial data against the business model.
