Elevation Accountancy and Finance are really excited to be working alongside a brilliant business in Chesterfield as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Manager into the business on a Full-Time OR Part-Time basis.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing a small team and preparing the monthly managements accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the preparation and interpretation of monthly management accountsMaintain effective systems for the payment, reconciliation and monitoring of salariesMaintain efficient and effective arrangements for the collection of, and accounting for, cash and credit income, and for making payments to creditorsEnsure that all statutory requirements are met in relation to financial regulations, including timely submission of VAT and taxation returns.Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure effective and timely reportingLiaise with the Director of Finance and Resources on the preparation of budgets and cashflow forecastsLine manage the Finance AssistantBe responsible for the training and development of the finance team and to deliver and participate in training and development as requiredSupport the preparation of grant applications and monitoring reportsBe responsible for own safety and the safety of colleagues and is responsible for taking all appropriate measures required to maintain the security and safety of data, equipment and buildingsUndertake any other reasonable duties that may be required by the post holder Person Specification:
